Frozen Priccesses

 Elsa and Annie

They’ve been there in their own room in Norway for a while, but I never checked them out, especially when there were no close encounters for so long…but I heard about the robot photographers and I had to check it out…it was pretty awesome…

The photography box starts snapping right away and you scan your band (or ticket) as you move away…I got 4-6 shots at each location…nifty!. And no matter how short handed the photographers are that day, you’ll always get your shots here.

Line wasn’t too bad at all so I did the Frozen ride, photo came out pretty well.

Ratatouille

I added the new Ratatouille shots last year, but they added a new one and moved them all.

These two, the old Remy sitting on your hand and the new one, holding the platter, are both taken at the bottom of the bridge just past The UK and before France…they did a confetti shot that added a cleaver for the occasion, too. I’d guess the confetti shot would be in several places.

I also got this extra Remy shot, the same place the extra Canada food collage was. Between the two gateway stores at the start of the Lands.

Then the runaway Remy shot that first showed up when the ride opened, then disappeared for a while, is back … but now it’s in front of the ride (in France)
by the fountain.  She did some straight shots, too. I always like the night shots.

I love the idea of this run away rat shot, but in the six or seven times I’ve got, it over the last year, I’ve always thought they looked a bit weird…

Fetch Pluto! Good Dog.

Another nice surprise…this area’s photo shot seems to change every time I stop…if you go all the way left at the entrance toward the Living Seas, this shot is in the construction corridor down a bit, on the right just before the Seas.…it seems like there is almost always a photographer here…

They do a few really nice straight shots, too with Spaceship Earth in the background.

Rainy Day Fun

How appropriate! I wore my umbrella shirt for the first time and lucked on to this!

You’ll find it in an out-crop between two big planters, on the way to the Lands a bit past the construction wall on the Journey into Imagination side…

First visit to the 2022 Food and Wine

This is a bit late, but I got out to Epcot last week…many new magic shots this week, a few unexpected..

I went to get the new Canadian collage, also hoping for that elusive passport shot from Canada. She did the passport shot, but it never showed up….the collage was great though…and it actually has two locations, the on in front if Canada (right past the first popcorn cart). And they do it in the center area between the two gateway shops.  I was really surprised when I got it in my folio. At first I thought they’d messed up the Canada shot and gave me two identical…but looking closer it’s a different background…(and of course different photos).

There are going to be four different collages featuring four different counties and foods over the festival..can’t wait.

I also snagged a new Test Track photo, although the stars of this were the two strangers in the front seat…I barely show in the back right, under all that hair…I jumped in the single rider line and walked right on… score..
There are lots more, but at least three deserve their own post…so soon…

Lion King Show at Animal Kingdom

This got out of order some how…it’s actually from early June…

I was just walking by on my way out as it was starting to sprinkle, when I heard the line guy say to someone else ‘one minute to show time’…so I went over and got at the end and a few seconds later they shut the door behind me…front row seat, as that was all that was open…

More 4th of July

I read later, after I got home, that they had  two other holiday magic shots, but that the last chance to get them was tomorrow, on the 5th…I was pretty tired but went out to get them, anyway….I got rained on, so my hair is a bit crazy (and I thought my shirt was red, until I got out there and saw it in the sun 🙄).…but I was happy to get them.

The castle had no more blue though, and the Epcot’s Spaceship Earth wasn’t decorated up either…so that only got  three days at Epcot, and as I said earlier the Epcot holiday confetti was no more…this was the ball on the 4th…so awesome…I wish they’d add it to the color rotation they do…

A few new non holiday shots from the 4th

…we got these while trying to get the magic confetti shot.. ..the photographer, Bella, was so helpful and did the confetti for us, as well as these others..

I’ve done rainbows before but this is the first time I tried it with two people.  Pretty cool.

And my favorite…
Bob looks like he’s thinking, “If there’s a frog in my hand, I don’t want to know”.

We also rode Buzz Lightyear and got a ride photo...it didn’t show up (we actually got someone else’s).

But after a stop at the Photopass  office the next day, I got the still picture…they can’t recover the video though…

Night Lantern and TeaParty.

I’ve  wanted to get the lantern photo ever since it came out, but either by the time it was dark, I (or we) were too tired, or I just plain forgot that night…but last night, even though I was tired and bedraggled by rain, I stayed...I had hoped to get out before the fireworks were over, but the line was long…still l didn’t have much trouble getting out…got in the first fairy-boat after I reached the dock, and the monorail to Epcot had no line at all…I was dead tired though.almost six mikrpes after a full day the day before…I was pooped…

I also stumbled on to a night only shot in front of the tea party ride.  Personally, I think it should be in front of the carousel, but I didn’t have the shot so naturally I stopped.

Magic Kingdom on the Fourth of July…yikes

It was really packed after 2:00. I think everyone that couldn’t get a reservation, hopped over…and it was deathly hot and humid…we stuck it out all day, just for the special  Fourth of July fireworks and was sadly disappointed…they were shorter than usual, and the holograms on the castle were nothing but stars and a few colors…it was so amazingly crowded (I’ve been coming to fireworks at least once a Month for 40 years, and I’ve never seen a crowd like this for them). It was so packed tight, there was no air circulation, and still really hot and humid…that people were throwing up..yuk..

I’m glad I got to see the red, white, and blue castle, but I’ll never go back in the 4th again…wish I’d gone to Epcot to see the ball in special Independence Day colors…I’m going back today, to Epcot and then the MK, but I don’t except to see it happen…they do have a 4th of July  magic shot I want though, that ends today…
this is NOT my photo…

They are doing the Independence Day confetti at the American Pavilion…last day today….and I hope, but doubt it’s likely, that they’ll  have the lights on the castle for photos…like they did at Christmas. And Sam Eagle magic shot is supposed to be at Liberty square, ending the fifth.
