Rainbow Confetti

While I was at the AK I also got the new rainbow confetti shot, lucky I saw it, as I’m guessing it will be replaced in a couple days..I also added a Pandora shot, just for fun….and took a ton of photos on the Gorilla Falls walk…the baby was so cute…

The older baby was there, too…and the rest  of the family was hanging out in the shade.

Animal Kingdom Wilderness Explorers

 No I idea why I wanted this magic shot, it took months to run down the photo… 

…it’s supposed to be in Dino-land but the two places they have designated for photographers, are never manned…I’ve literally been trying for over half a year to get it and the bone shot

  Anyway, yesterday I ran into a  photographer on the bridge right before the Nemo show, that was the same woman who had done my confetti shot out front earlier in the day…so in chatting with her, she said she might be able to get the sash shot…she looked it up and said it wasn’t really a shot they did there on the bridge, but she thought it would work….and it did…I’m very grateful to her, now just need the bone shot!

She also did the shot she was supposed to be doing.

    As I passed the Kaa shot on the way to Gorilla Falls, I noticed there was no one in line, so I stopped for a remake of that, too…it was also a hard one to run down at one point, … it’s in Asia…on the main drag, in front of a big stone stature,  pretty easy to spot when someone is there.

New Confetti

 Went out to Animal Kingdom yesterday to get the new Rainbow Confetti. Very pretty. I got a few repeat shots, too.

 This is still behind a rock, across from Mt.Everest and overlooking the lake…it’s very hard to tell if it’s open, if a photographer is up there busy, or no one around at all…it’s needs better signage and procedure.  Since there wasn’t a line, would have been nice when he checked it, to tell me my eyes were closed, and redo it..

Someone is having Fun

From many years experience I know that the ride and magic shots can take longer to show up on the app…but not usually too long. It was taken on June 1 at 1:00.  I waited until the 3rd. No photo☹️

I took a ride out to the Photo-Pass office at Disney Springs the afternoon of June 3. It wasn’t in with the rides, so one CM looked through the master list and found it…no ride frame, so they wouldn’t release the photo to me…she did give me a card with the email and phone number of the main office and wrote down the photo number. 😎

That afternoon I emailed them with all the info I had… 🤗

Today is June 14…still no photo…I called…it said two hour wait…I put my phone on speaker and played games on my iPad   … for 2 hours, 20 minutes😞 …the guy on the phone had my name, email, and photo…it took him less than one minute to get it, add the frame and send it to my app….why not already have done it when the email came in? If they are more than two weeks behind on reading and answering emails, and over two hours on phone calls…they need to hire… but…I got it…almost worth it.🤸🏼‍♂️🎈🎉

I admit I was expecting a lot more…the train room is really just a small reading nook across from the workout room, with two small, glass display boxes of trains and a few cabinets and photographs of the train paraphernalia….

While I was at the MK I thought I’d go over and see Walt’s train and eat lunch…both were a bust…but there were not one but TWO Photo-pass photographers in the lodge…one had indoor magic shots of the bear …and totem pole shots, including the postcard, the other was supposed to be outside with different shots, but it wa raining, so he did another bear shot.

      

Magic Kingdom and the Cheshire Cat

 Yes! 

I tried 5 visits to get these shots, photographer was never there (I did get some straight shots once, before the Cheshire Cat came back.)…finally success! It was a near thing though…the photographer was there but had no idea she had a magic shot…I was firm that I’d read it, seen examples,  and this was exactly where it said it was…she actually left and went to check…she came back and took two great shots…so the photographer that is at the tea party cup ride…they have it…this was yesterday, so it’s still there now..2022..

I wandered back out and passed the photographer that was in the court yard and wanted a good shot with Walt in the back ground.  I had thought that’s what it was set up for, but was surprised to find just the castle in the background …so I went back and asked for Walt and she agreed to do another…

While at the Studios for the New Star-wars shots, I stopped in and got a shot wi Sully…so nice that the character meets are back…there was a line, so they didn’t waste any time doing a lot of shots.

Flower and Garden Rewind

 

While we were here to see the Guardian’s I drug Bob over to Italy for the Collage photo and the Donkey…it was on the way to get Fish and Chips anyway..I have several of the collages from this year and last year, but none with Bob. All the photos were available as full photos, too.

 Guardians of the Galaxy 

   We made it in to see the new EPCOT ride …it was so cool…they have a photographer out front, too that anyone can do shots with…it had a pretty long line…I don’t usually say bad things about the photographers, and this isn’t really bad, but the line was longer than it needed  to be as she kept taking to the guests about their jewelry or tee shirts…normally it may be nice…but it really was annoying to stand in the hot sun while she chatted everyone up..

Sadly the ride photo never showed up...I went to Disney Springs yesterday to find it…apparently it had the wrong border on itso it was put aside…she looked up the number and gave it to me…so I emailed the info and number to the Photo-pass  office…hopefully they’ll get it to me..
